
first of all i would like to quote one sentence from peter.f.drukcer "the sole aim of business is to create customer"
and the process of creation customer is embedded in marketing.
Yes,marketing means everything in business continuity or survival ,if any given corporation can not do marketing activity properly and timely its competitive advantages will obsolesce and this firm sooner or later will be extinct.
so, whats is the definition of marketing? from a holistic perspective marketing can be defined as follow:
"the process of inception,designing ,developing,promoting,delivering and selling products (goods,information,services) in order to satisfy customers (meet their existing needs and expectations and also creating needs and then suit them) which in return will bring about addressing of organizational objectives ,is defined as marketing."
so in marketing we not only sell the products but also we design ,develop and deliver new products which are created after evoking new needs
so here i can write this proposition that marketing goes beyond only sale,it embraces many areas from design,develop to promote and distribute and simultaneously getting feed-backs and grievances to retain customers and make them loyal
so marketing activities are subject to both long-run and short-run strategies
in next posts i will go through details for this definition and subsequently pertained terms will be explained.
